I fell in love with this carved stone as soon as I laid eyes on it.  But for a while I couldn't figure out how to set it while showcasing that it is a face.  One day the angel on my shoulder idea popped into my head and that's how this design was born.  The halo is hand formed from gold filled wire. The carved angel face stone is bezel set in fine silver on a sterling silver back.  I decided to use a magnet as the connector (instead of a pin) on this piece.  You can securely place this brooch on your clothing without making marks. It looks adorable sitting high on a shoulder.  We could all use an angel whispering in our ear every now and then.
